Enter the You’re the Designer Clear Cut Contest!

Have you always wanted to be a shoe designer? Well here’s your chance! Enter etnies Girl’s You’re the Designer Clear Cut Contest for the opportunity to have your design vision become a reality.
Here’s the scoop: The Clear Cut, etnies Girl’s brand-new customizable version of the Callicut, comes with a clear logo window and interchangeable “E” insert options, including one blank so you can create your own design. That’s where you come in. Download the “E” insert line drawing and start designing, then upload or snail mail us your best design. The etnies Girl shoe designers will pick their favorite five designs, which we will post on the etnies Girl Web site so our readers can pick the winner.
The grand prize winner will receive five pairs of the Clear Cut that include the winning “E” insert design and a head-to-toe etnies Girl outfit. The four runners-up will receive a pair of the Clear Cut and an etnies Girl T-shirt.
All entries must be received no later than January 10, 2006, in order to be eligible, so get creative and start designing!

Jan 17, 2006I am a going to be a shoe designer when I growup. I just designed a shoe on this website etnies.com and now I cant by them just because of my dumb dad.But I love etnies. I am a shoe freak.I have 4 pairs of etnies one pair circas and about 15 other types of shoes. Ireally want to be a shoe designer for etnies shoe company.PEACE OUT.

The ONLY thing I don't like about Etnies is that since I don't skateboard, I'm a "poser". GAHH! That happened to my sister, too, by the way.
Other than that... wow, these things are so comfortable. I can comfortably wear a size smaller, no trouble whatsoever...

How could it be, that over 80 persons vote in 3 minutes for the design #1???!!!
In the next 5 minutes 110 votes again and so on and so on...???!!!
This shows that some people cant´t fight on an regular way! You´re real losers to fight with such illegal tricks to win!
And please, don´t say that the way was right!
Over 450 votes in 6 hours???

And maybe it´s a consolation for you that if number 4 wins, it´s definitely not in a fair way (you can imagine that it´s not possible to get about ten percent of over 9000 votes in between the last 24 hours without manipulation). So don´t think that your design isn´t good!

Team 1 and Team 4 (exspecially Team 4), sorry, this was a very disappointing introduction!
Everybody can win a contest over the way of manipulation but to win without "Hackertools" an so on, that shows the really high quality of fairness!
Just a info to the Team of Etnies:
This was painful! To make a contest without security-controlls, which avoid manipulation!
This was not professional, this was a really disappointing introduction from you as the Contest giver!
Without the technical controll from Team 1 and Team 4, you wouldn´t have more than 1900 votes totally over the month!
Sorry, this was an letdown!

Feb 1, 2006OMG "betty and friend" it seems to me like your just some really sore loosers. i came here last week and voted for design2 but then I saw that design 3 (the Orange one)suddenly gained 300 votes in a single minut!!! i notised because they were really low before i voted, and really high after SO ARE THEY CHEATINF AS WEL???and if their ceating too, design 1 3 and 4 woud be ALL cheating and by your logic YOU are a cheater as well Since you have quite alot of votes too.
and besides web sites like somethingAwfl and bolt have a lot of members (like a hundred thoussand) and youcan ask them to Vote for you. so MAYBE NOBODY is cheating!!i think you should be Happy about youre price and quit wining that you're not 1st place

so you think that we´re the loosers?!
At first, yeah you´re right that we have also a lot of votes!Thats right! But look, we had 31 % in the middle of the month! 2 days before end, we had 28,8 %! Then, at least one day later, we have under 25%!!!
We didn´t cheat! We collected all our votes over the hole month until the last night!
Team #4, remember had 17,4 % at the 30th of January,: Than one day later, they have over 28,5%!!! That seems not very logical! Why should all friends of Team #4 vote only in one and the last day and not over the hole month!???
No no no, iam not stupid girl!
And your comment, that hundred thounssand of people can visit this website:
Yes, they can, but all in the same moment in one and the same hour! And only on this day???!!!
The reason is, that the other teams can´t prove it yet!
So, Team #4 is the winner!
